Ticket

I accepted the Ticket. The Ticket that multitudes rejected. It came in my mail, sent by the Conductor. It had no class nor compartment number. At once, I left my house for the Train Station.

At the Platform, I observed four people present for the Train: the Conductor stood next to the Narrow Door of the Carriage, a woman stopped next to the Conductor, a man walked towards the woman, and I followed behind him. The woman gave her ticket to the Conductor. Upon seeing it, the Conductor shook His head disapprovingly. Furious that He rejected her fake ticket, she stomped off. Next, the Conductor checked the man’s ticket, and gestured for him to enter. The man carried bulky luggages in both hands. He tried to enter; howbeit, his bags prevented him to enter the Narrow Door. The Conductor shook His head. He requested the man to leave his baggage behind. Unwilling to part with his belongings, the man sadly left the Station.

I stepped forward and give my Ticket to the Conductor. Unlike the man, I carried one item tucked under my arm. It was the Book. He bid me to enter.
